Bootcut Jeans Are the Cornerstone of Kendall Jenner’s Sophisticated Wardrobe

Kendall Jenner has managed to whittle her minimalist wardrobe staples down to a few core essentials—and one of the supermodel’s mainstays remains bootcut jeans. Seldom do we not see the recently appointed FWRD creative director rocking them, and pretty darn well, too.

Yes Halle Berry and Jennifer Aniston wore bootcuts well in the Noughties, but in 2022, we can’t think of anyone other than Jenner who breathes life back into the divisive staple quite so effortlessly.

While running some errands in Los Angeles recently, Jenner paired a white vest top with classic black bootcut denim (we’re betting the Danielle jeans from Khaite). But her denim obsession extends to light-wash ankle-grazers, too. If we journey back to October 2021, Jenner hit us with yet another quietly powerful off-duty outfit. This time, she coupled her ’00s-style denim with an Acne Studios sweater and her much-loved leather boots by The Row. Hats off to her stylist, Dani Michelle.

At the start of the year, Jenner also brought a little bit of French-girl style to Calabasas and opted for a mid-wash pair of jeans teamed with another pointed pair of boots. To round it off, she added an oversized blazer for a business-chic edge.
