Copenhagen's Winter Chic: Street Style Shines Despite the Cold
Copenhagen's Winter Chic: Street Style Shines Despite the Cold
At Copenhagen Fashion Week this season, the excitement wasn't limited to the runways. While Scandinavian designers showcased diverse trends, from chic workwear-inspired silhouettes to glamorous eveningwear, and a new take on grunge that seamlessly transitioned from skateboarding to sophisticated eveningwear, off-the-runway streetwear was equally impressive.
Despite the gray skies and howling winds, showgoers rocked their best looks. Familiar favorites with many editors were spotted, such as Ganni Bou bags, Remain cropped leather bomber jackets, and jingling bag charms. But unexpected options also appeared, such as the 66°North puffer jacket to protect against the bitter cold and cozy knitted hoodies to combat the cold weather.
Statement coats, whether fur, leather, quilted, or wool, also made cold-temperature looks easy and chic, especially when paired with polished pointed boots, a carefully wrapped scarf, and black-framed sunglasses (no need for sun here!). This season saw a clear dominance of a neutral color palette, with shades of beige, brown, olive green, and black dominating.
If you're looking for inspiration, look no further; our favorite street style moments from this season have everything you need.
