Cannes hosted a remarkable charity event last Thursday evening: the annual amfAR Gala, held on the sidelines of the Cannes Film Festival with a noble goal: raising funds for AIDS research. This gala has always been the focus of global attention, and celebrities pay special attention to their appearances, given the extensive media coverage it receives across both traditional and social media platforms.
Over the past three decades, amfAR has raised more than $265 million to support vital AIDS research, establishing itself as one of the most prominent charitable events on Cannes' busy calendar. This season's edition featured a haute couture show curated by renowned fashion designer Carine Roitfeld and attended by a remarkable number of international stars.
Saudi model Ameera Al Zuhairy was particularly striking, stealing the show on the red carpet in a stunning pink lace gown from Zuhair Murad's Spring/Summer 2025 collection. Ameera wasn't the only one to wear the Lebanese designer's creations; Brazilian model Izabel Goulart and German model Leonie Hanne also shone in Murad's designs, confirming the strong presence and unique appeal of Murad's creations at this prominent global event.
