The prestigious French fashion house Hermès has announced that Los Angeles will host the presentation of "Chapter Two" of its Fall 2026 women's collection in a highly anticipated show on June 4th. This move represents a continuation of the house's approach to expanding its narrative and connecting its creations with a diverse global audience through exceptional shows outside of Paris.
The "Chapter Two" Trilogy by Nadezhda Vanni-Cybulski
The upcoming Los Angeles show is the third iteration of the "Chapter Two" concept, conceived by designer Nadezhda Vanni-Cybulski, the house's artistic director of women's ready-to-wear. This strategy aims to offer a second, expanded interpretation of the collection, which premiered in Paris. Previous stops included:
New York (June 2024): The first stop that launched this concept.
Shanghai (June 2025): The dazzling show held on the banks of the Huangpu River.
Los Angeles (June 2026): The next stop, combining Hermès' sophistication with the vibrancy of the American West Coast.
Revisiting Shanghai 2025
The Los Angeles show announcement follows the resounding success of last year's Shanghai show, held against the backdrop of the stunning Pudong skyline. That show featured a giant orange catwalk stretching 3,200 feet along the waterfront, hosting some 800 celebrity guests and VIP clients. The Shanghai collection focused on modularity, transforming garments from coats to practical jackets with a single touch—a concept experts anticipate will continue and evolve in the upcoming Los Angeles show.
